If you had the chance to positively change someone’s life forever, would you do it?

Would you at least consider it?

What would cause you to say no?
What would cause you to say yes?

What dragons would you be willing to battle?
                                                   Which would you avoid?

                                                                                 Why?

We’re talking about someone’s life here.

What do you want, what do you need, to act?

Are you not in a powerful enough position, or is it simply that you are just not a leader?
Does it require some special skill for you to even consider it?
What skill? What is required of you?

What do you require of yourself?

Does it matter who the person is that you would be helping?  Could that be what is holding you back?

What if they are a homeless person, a colleague, a friend, a spouse, your child – or dare I say it – you?

Are you one of those people who fail to act because of some standard, some limitation, some lack of position, some “something” that’s missing, some something that others seem to have but failed to make its way into your DNA?
What does it mean to live your own life?
                                           More importantly,
What does it mean to LEAD your own life?

Why are some able to rise above adversity and difficulty and others not?
What is your story and is it the story you want to be telling about your life and those you lead, even if you aren’t aware you are their leader?

Perhaps a better question to ask: What story does your leadership allow those people, those you lead, to tell about their life?

Is it a worthy story?  Would they deem it so? What could you—what would you—do so they could answer yes?

We are called upon every day to lead, and too many of us fail to answer the call out of fear, doubt, intimidation, and countless other reasons.

What is your reason?
What keeps you from “answering the phone” and stepping into your leadership of self and others?

What?

                                                            Oh, you’re not a leader?

That’s not true, you know.

You lead your own life every morning you open your eyes, and continue every moment of every day – even in your sleep.

Who else are you leading?

Leadership isn’t about authority, it’s about effect, impact, influence.

Leadership is about LIFT.
Leadership lifts us and those around us to new heights, new possibilities, new beliefs, new beginnings, deeper experiences and higher dreams.

Are you leading? Are you willing?

What if you could have a powerful and positive impact on someone‘s life? Would you?
                  You can.
                                 You will.
                                                You do.
                                                              Every day–
That life is yours!
Are you willing to lead that life? Truly lead it?
If not,
           why not?

And what will it take for you to do so?
