Are you here to lead an extraordinary life?
I ask because Jacques Cousteau once said: “If you have the opportunity to lead an extraordinary life, you have no right to keep it to yourself.”
The instant I read that quote I couldn’t help but see the most important, the most operative word jump out at me:
LEAD!!!
He didn’t say: If you have the opportunity to “live,” or “exist in,” or “have” an extraordinary life, but to… LEAD an extraordinary life. Each and every one of us has the opportunity to lead that extraordinary life.
EVERYONE DOES.
EVERYONE DOES.
But the BIG question is: Will you? Not, can you? Not, does the opportunity exist for you? Because you can, and it does.
But WILL you? I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the answer is no.
You won’t.
Not if you are waiting for permission to lead your life.
Not if you are waiting for permission to lead your life.
Not if you are waiting for:
just the right education,
the right degree,
the right job,
the right degree,
the right job,
the right spouse…
A title.
A title.
The bottom line is this, and you ALL know it’s true:
YOU BUILD YOUR FUTURE BY THE CHOICES YOU MAKE TODAY!
So, WHAT have you already decided this morning?!
Have you decided to wait for the stars to align just right?

Or have you decided that you WILL lead an extraordinary life and will start today to make the choices to breathe that life into being?
